Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday visited a major technology innovation exhibition in Israel and invited Israeli companies to invest in India and collaborate with Indian youth in cutting-edge sectors such as artificial intelligence, quantum computing, healthcare and agriculture.Modi, who is on a two-day visit to Israel — his second in nine years — toured the exhibition alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The showcase featured pioneering innovations developed by Israeli start-ups, research institutions and global technology firms.
In a post on social media on Thursday, the Prime Minister said he witnessed “special innovations” from the world of technology and got a glimpse of pioneering work by Israeli youth in areas such as AI, quantum technologies, healthcare, cybersecurity, water resources and agriculture.“Urged Israeli companies to invest in India and work with our talented youth,” Modi said.

According to information, the exhibition highlighted advancements in agri-tech, water-tech, climate-tech, health-biotech, smart mobility, AI, cybersecurity and quantum technologies. Innovation and technology partnership remains a key pillar of India-Israel bilateral ties, with both nations working under the India-Israel Innovation Bridge initiative to develop solutions to modern-day challenges.During the walk-through, Modi interacted with scientists, entrepreneurs and CEOs of leading Israeli firms. Addressing innovators, he said the technologies on display have immense potential to scale up cooperation in innovation, start-ups and business partnerships, particularly in agriculture, water management, healthcare and digital services.He encouraged Israeli firms to explore opportunities in India to invest, manufacture and build technology partnerships, while jointly developing solutions for global challenges in collaboration with India’s skilled youth workforce.
In the quantum and deep-tech segment, Modi was briefed by Quantum Machines on the Israeli Quantum Computing Centre (IQCC), while Classiq showcased its efforts in simplifying quantum software development.In health-tech and AI, start-up AISAP demonstrated its AI-powered point-of-care ultrasound system that provides real-time diagnostic guidance. The Horizon Scanning Division of Israel’s Ministry of Science and Technology presented “Tech Scout,” an AI-driven platform designed for strategic risk detection and trend analysis.
Smart mobility solutions were presented by Mobileye, which showcased its sensor and chip technologies aimed at enhancing road safety. In cybersecurity, Check Point Software Technologies highlighted its advanced threat prevention systems and collaborations in India.Water and agricultural technologies also featured prominently. WaterGen demonstrated systems that produce drinking water from air, while N-Drip showcased gravity-powered micro-irrigation technology. Natural Offset Farming presented in-field post-harvest solutions aimed at reducing food loss without electricity use.Climate and biotech innovations included Remilk’s precision fermentation process for lab-produced milk proteins and BarAlgae’s machine-learning-driven microalgae cultivation systems. Mynora Bio displayed bio-conversion additives for plastic waste management.In the energy and space segment, the Geophysical Institute demonstrated high-resolution modelling to quantify mineral resources, while Israel Aerospace Industries presented miniaturised communication satellites and integrated Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) technology.
