Addressing the gathering, Modi launched a sharp attack on the ruling Trinamool Congress, alleging widespread corruption during its 15-year rule. He announced that a BJP-led government would release a “white paper” detailing alleged irregularities involving party leaders.“BJP will bring a white paper to ensure a legal accounting of corruption involving TMC's MLAs, ministers, and syndicates. It will present a full account of the government's 15 years. Under a BJP government, strict action will be taken to stop every such crime,” he said.

Seeking to consolidate support among women voters, Modi also made a key financial promise, announcing Rs3,000 per month assistance for women if the Bharatiya Janata Party comes to power in the state.“Seeing Bengal's growing support for BJP, TMC is in panic and is misleading people with lies. You can be certain that BJP will shut down their shop of corruption. I have especially come to assure all the sisters and daughters of Bengal that BJP has announced Rs3,000 per month for women,” he added.
The rally comes as the BJP ramps up its campaign in West Bengal, taking on Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and her party in a high-stakes electoral battle.Polling in the state is scheduled for April 23 and 29, with results to be declared on May 4. The elections follow the 2021 Assembly polls, where the Trinamool Congress secured a decisive victory, while the BJP significantly expanded its presence, setting the stage for a closely watched contest this time.
