Amid the Bulli Bai row, some channels on social media platforms abusing women. This time Telegram. This came after users pointed out on social media that a channel on the Telegram app was using pictures of Hindu women without their consent to abuse them. A Telegram channel which was sharing photos of Hindu women and abusing them, has been blocked. Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw said the government was coordinating with 'police authorities of states for action'.

A verified user complained against this particular Telegram channel which was created in June 2021 and has been targeting Hindu women, sharing their photos and abusing them.Several abusive pages and groups on Facebook have also surfaced, complaints against whom had been tweeted by a Twitter user, to which Union Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology Rajeev Chandrasekhar said that had he has directed the concerned authorities to inform Meta and to get them taken down.
