The benchmark indices bounced back strongly on Friday, with the Sensex rebounding more than 500 points from its intraday low and the Nifty reclaiming the 25,900 level as the NDA swept the Bihar polls.At close The Sensex was up 84.11 points or 0.10 percent ended higher at 84,562.78, while the Nifty went up 30.90 points or 0.12 percent to settle at 25,910.05
Adani Enterprises, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation and Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone were the top gainers on the Nifty, rising up to 3 percent, while losers included Infosys and Tata Steel declining up to 2 percent.However, both the benchmark indices showed some recovery at the fag end before closing the session with gains for the fourth day in a row.
Rupee Close:
On 14 Nov'25,the Indian rupee fell 3 paise to close at 88.73 against the US dollar on Friday, weighed down by the strength of the American currency and rising crude oil prices.Forex traders said a rebound in domestic equities following a sweeping mandate for the ruling alliance in the Bihar polls supported the rupee at lower levels.
