In Andhra Pradesh, Indian Navy's might and the rich cultural diversity of the country were on grand display at the International City Parade on the picturesque Beach Road on Sunday evening. Contingents of navies from friendly foreign nations like USA, Australia, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Vietnam, also marched along with their Indian counterparts in the spirit of camaraderie.The Parade was part of the ongoing 11th Multilateral Maritime Exercises MILAN-2022 being organised for the first time in Vishakhapatanam. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Chief of Navy Admiral R Hari Kumar, Ambassadors of different countries and other dignitaries graced the spectacular event. The International City Parade included smart marching contingents from the Indian Navy, Coast Guard, visiting navies, NCC, SCC, Sainik School Korukonda, AP Police Department, AP Fire Services and Veterans.

The Operational Demonstration showcased various operations by the Indian Navy including special operations and sky diving by Marine Commandos, rescue operations by naval helicopters and fly-past by naval aircraft.

The event culminated with a spectacular laser show, fireworks and illumination by naval ships at anchorage including INS Visakhapatnam
