Maharashtra CM will be from BJP: Ajit Pawar, swearing-in on Dec 5

In Maharastra, the Mahayuti will form the government with Chief Minister  from BJP and the remaining two parties will have Dy Chief Ministers.  NCP leader Ajit Pawar on Saturday said that this is not the first time there has been a delay... If you remember, in 1999, one month was taken for government formation.Speaking to the media in Mumbai, Pawar said, "During the meeting in Delhi of Mahayuti leaders it was decided that Mahayuti will form the government with CM from BJP and the remaining two parties will have DCMs."

Earlier, Maharashtra BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule announced that the new government's oath-taking ceremony will be held on December 5, while no official name has been announced for the Chief Minister's post. Chandrashekhar said on X that the swearing-in ceremony would be held at 5 pm at Mumbai's Azad Maidan. The event, he said, will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
