While some cloud movement is expected on April 18, the IMD has ruled out any significant rainfall. The broader forecast indicates mostly clear weather over the next week, with only occasional light clouds offering minimal respite. The absence of rain, combined with rising temperatures, is expected to exacerbate discomfort levels across the region. With heatwave conditions tightening their grip, authorities and health experts have urged residents to take precautionary measures. People are advised to limit outdoor activities during peak afternoon hours, stay well-hydrated, and use protective measures such as wearing light clothing and avoiding direct sunlight.
