In view of the decline in COVID-19 case, the weekend curfew has been lifted in the national capital. Odd-even scheme for shops and commercial establishments has also ended in Delhi.The decision was taken during the Delhi Disaster Management Authority meeting on Thursday. However, night curfew from 10 PM to 5 AM every day will continue in the city. The schools will also remain closed in the national capital. 200 people will be allowed in marriages while the bars and restaurants will open with 50 percent capacity. The government offices will operate with 50 percent capacity. The decisions were taken at the meeting of the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) to review the Covid situation in the capital.
Cinema halls, restaurants and bars have also been allowed to open at a 50 per cent capacity. The government has also increased the number of people that can be allowed in wedding ceremonies to 200. Traders in many parts of the city have also been protesting against the restrictions and demanded the curbs be lifted, including those imposed on shops selling non-essential items being permitted to open on alternate days based on an odd-even system
