CISF organised Marathon Run

To commemorate the completion of 15 years of CISF deployment at Delhi Metro Rail, various functions were organised by CISF to celebrate the Induction in Delhi Metro, the lifeline of Delhi. A marathon “Metro Run” was organised on April 09, 2022, comprising of 10 teams of CISF personnel. The marathon commenced at 0400 hrs from various terminal stations of Delhi metro network and concluded at Central Park, Rajiv Chowk, Delhi. The longest route of 42 kms of the marathon was between Raja Nahar Singh metro station to Central Park metro station, Sheel Vardhan Singh, Director General, CISF  flagged in the Metro run event at around 0745 hrs at Central Park, Rajiv Chowk, Delhi. The metro run was followed by various Demonstration by CISF personnel at Central Park, Rajiv Chowk, New Delhi. He  also inaugurated the Stone laying ceremony for the proposed accommodation of CISF personnel at various locations across Delhi, where more than 1800 personnel of CISF unit DMRC Delhi will be accommodated.Shri Vikas Kumar, MD DMRC,  Arvind Deep, ADG(North), Smt. Nina Singh, ADG (HQrs), Pramod Shripad Phalnikar,ADG(APS) and other senior officers of CISF FHQrs, NCR Sector, Unit Heads of Delhi based Units & Sr. Officers and personnel of CISF Unit DMRC Delhi were also present during the function.
