Chief Economic Advisor KV Subramanian to step down and will return to academia at the end of his three-year stint next month. In a statement, Subramanian thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for their support and inspiring leadership. He was appointed as the CEA in December 2018. Prime Minister Modi took to Twitter to wish Subramanian the very best in the future endeavours.
