The Gujarat government on Thursday imposed a statewide ban on the manufacture, storage, transportation, distribution and sale of unauthorised analogue dairy products ,citing concerns over public health and consumer safety.

The  IMD has forecast heavy rainfall accompanied by gusty winds in parts of Tamil Nadu over the next three days, with the Western Ghats and adjoining districts expected to receive the most intense showers.
