Oil prices plunged and US stock futures jumped after President Donald Trump said he would hold off  attacks on Iran for two weeks.

The RBI Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) on Wednesday decided to keep the benchmark policy repo rate unchanged at 5.25%.

The domestic share market traded on a positive note on Wednesday,led by improving sentiment after the US–Iran ceasefire announcement.

The Indian share market indices traded on strong note with Nifty above 23,100 in the volatile session on Tuesday.

Oil prices moved higher on Monday following the Easter holiday weekend, as the ongoing US-Israel conflict with Iran continued to strain global crude supply.

India’s services sector growth moderated in March, with the HSBC India Services PMI slipping to 57.5 from 58.1 in February, marking the slowest pace of expansion in 14 months.
