BJP President Nitin Nabin picks new team

The Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday announced its new team of national office-bearers, After six moths of taking over as National President of the Party, Nitin Nabin has announced his new team of office bearers.The new team  includes several experienced leaders and significant representation to women.Former Union minister Smriti Irani is back in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s national organisation. Former Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb, Sunil Bansal, Vinod Tawde, Gajendra Patel, Satish Poonia, Harish Dwivedi and Sanjay Bhatia have been appointed as National General Secretaries. B L Santosh will continue as the BJP’s National General Secretary (Organisation).
The party has also appointed 13 National Vice Presidents, including former Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat, Ram Madhav, Baijayant Panda, D Purandeswari, Rekha Verma, Varshaben Narendrabhai Doshi, Bharti Pravin Pawar, Manpreet Singh Badal, Lal Singh Arya, Prof M Nagaraja, Prof Tariq Mansoor and Madhuchandra Kar. Six of the 13 National Vice Presidents are women. Piyush Goyal will continue as the party’s National Treasurer, while Rajya Sabha MP Tarun Chugh has been appointed Central Office In-charge.
The BJP has named 16 leaders as National Secretaries. They include Kavita Patidar, K Surendran, Dr Bhola Singh, Pradip Varma, Jagdish Ishwarbhai Patel, Sandeep Pathak, Phangnon Konyak, Sangeeta Yadav, Anil Antony, M Venkateshan, Manoj Tigga, Siddharth Shambhu, Swadesh Singh, Mriganka Deo Barman, Rohan Gupta and Jai Prakash.
Gujarat MP Hemang Joshi will head the BJP Yuva Morcha, while Chhattisgarh leader Roop Kumari Choudhary will oversee the Mahila Morcha.
Deepak Mhaskey of Chhattisgarh has been appointed Social Media Convenor. He will reolce Amit Malviya.Lok Sabha MP Anil Baluni will continue as Media Convenor. Ashish Usha Agrawal, Pradeep Bhandari and Siddharth Yadav have been appointed as co-convenors.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the newly appointed office-bearers and leaders entrusted with various organisational responsibilities. In a post on X, PM Modi said, “Congratulations to the newly appointed National Office Bearers of the BJP and those who have been given various responsibilities in the Party. This newly appointed team brings together organisational experience, energy and grassroots connect. I am confident they will give their best in strengthening our Party and focussing on public service. My best wishes to them.”
The new organisational team will face a major electoral test in 2027, when several states, including Uttar Pradesh, are scheduled to go to the polls. The organisational changes also come amid speculation about a possible reshuffle of the Union Council of Ministers.
