The city of Bhopal known for its picturesque beauty due to lakes and landscaping hills attracts world's famous American to sign an agreement to manage its prestigious Hotel Noor-us- Saba Palace under is brand Unbound Collection to make the company debut in India after China. Hyatt hotels corporation known as Hyatt Hotes and Resort is a Chicago based company which is famous for managing luxary and business hotels worldwide. The company under it's Unbound Collection selects hotels which are tagged as Heritage properties. This is Company 's debut agreement in India under Unbound Collection catagory after China in Asia..
Under the Agreement the hotel will get a new shape including the interior , rooms , open area and the colour combination etc. without changing its outer look .Noor- us - Saba Palace has a history of more than one hundred years, built in 1920 by Bhopal's Lady Nawab Begum Sultan Jahan. It was open for public in the year 1998. The CEO of the hotel Pankaj Yadav disclosed that many Haritage hotels of the country including Rajasthan which is known for its Haritage properties were in the race of this deal but the Company after thorough screening selected the hotel probably keeping in mind its history, legacy and location.
He said only rooms will not be available but food and beverages services will continue. As informed the Hotel in changed version will be open from early 2025 but did not disclose the financial part of the Agreement.This correspondent talked to some frequent visitors of this hotel who were happy to know about this deal which brought Bhopal's name in the chain of international cicuit of luxury hotels but at the same time they were seen to be worried about the possible higher side of room rent and other amenities which may go into Lacs to be out of reach of a common man .
