Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday said that India, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, will give a fitting and precise response to every act of terrorism. This was the Union Home Minister's first public remarks on the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack. " The Home Minister said at the event to unveil a statue of Upendra Nath Brahma, the leader of Assam's Bodo community, and name a road after him in New Delhi."Whoever carried out the dastardly terror attack in Pahalgam will not be spared. We will hunt down each and every perpetrator of the Pahalgam terror attack. Don't think that you have won by killing 26 people. Every one of you will be made answerable," he said. Shah says, "If someone, by doing a cowardly attack, thinks that it is their big victory, then understand one thing, this is the Narendra Modi government, no one will be spared. It is our resolve to uproot terrorism from every inch of this country and it will be accomplished." He further said that Assam accepts the people of Bodoland, and Bodoland accepts Assam. Shah also emphasised that after nine months of detailed discussion, the Bodo Agreement was signed in 2020, and today all the people have laid down their arms and joined the mainstream.

pic.twitter.com/YGYDOaTrB9
