27 IAS officers empanelled as Secretary

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the empanelment of 27 IAS officers for holding post of Secretary and equivalent in the govt of India. These officers belong to 1990 batch. Among them maximum 3 each IAS officers from UP, Assam-Meghalaya and Kerala cadres have been empanelled.  This time one IAS officer from Gujarat, Bihar, MP, Maharashtra, Manipur, Punjab and Rajasthan have been empanelled.

This is the fourth empanelmet of secretaries in 2021.
