Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann expanded his cabinet by inducting five more Ministers in it. Governor Banwari Lal Purohit administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly inducted ministers at Punjab Raj Bhawan in Chandigarh on Monday. Those MLAs who joined Bhagwant Mann's cabinet today include Sunam MLA Aman Arora, MLA from Amritsar South Dr Inderbir Singh Nijjer, MLA from Kharar and known Singer Anmol Gagan Mann, Guru Har Sahai MLA Fouza Singh Sarari and MLA from Samana Chetan Singh Jouramajra. After the oath ceremony Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said that the departments of the new ministers will be announced within two days.
There are 18 berths in the cabinet, including the chief minister. The Aam Aadmi Party had stormed to power in Punjab by bagging 92 seats out of a total of 117.Talking to the reporters, CM Mann said, "Whatever expectations people have from us, we will live up to them." The CM said all ministers will work honestly and in a transparent manner.
