PM Modi arrives in Gujarat for 3-day visit, to chair key meetings

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Jamnagar, Gujarat, on Saturday evening for a three-day visit packed with significant engagements. He was greeted by enthusiastic crowds lining the streets as his motorcade traveled from the airport to the circuit house. According to official release, on Sunday, March 2, PM Modi will visit Vantara, a vast 3,000-acre animal rescue and rehabilitation center within the Reliance Jamnagar refinery complex. Later, he will offer prayers at the Somnath Temple and preside over a meeting of the Shree Somnath Trust, where he serves as chairperson.
According to information, the Prime Minister will stay overnight at Sasan, the headquarters of Gir National Park. On Monday, March 3, he is scheduled for a jungle safari before chairing the National Board for Wildlife (NBWL) meeting at Sinh Sadan. As the ex-officio chairman, PM will lead discussions with NBWL’s 47 members, including officials from various states, NGOs, and the Chief of Army Staff. During his visit, the PM will also engage with women forest staffers at Sasan, recognizing their contributions to wildlife conservation.
