. Ex- Haryana party Chief Ashok Tanwar on Saturday resigned from the primary membership of the party, two days after he quit party’s election committees and accused his political rivals of “selling tickets” for the upcoming state polls. In his long letter to the Congress President Tanwar said that , “Congress is going through existential crises, not because of its political opponents but because of serious internal contradiction.” Tanwar hit out at the party leadership and said some people in the Congress think they are gods and goddesses. Ashok Tanwar has reportedly been unhappy with the party’s ticket distribution decision in poll-bound Haryana, a state where the Congress was once in power but is today suffering infightings. Two days before former Mumbai Congress president Sanjay Nirupam also declared that he will not participate in the party’s poll campaign, Polling in both the sates will held on October 21 and results will be declared on October 24.
