Congress means lies, confusion, corruption, PM Modi In Assam

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday stepped up his attack on the political rivals in poll-bound West Bengal and Assam, accusing them of derailing development and ignoring people’s needs for their vested interests. In Assam rally, Prime Minister Narendra Modi  accused the Congress of giving "false guarantees" when it was in power at the Centre and also in Assam at the same time earlier, and failed to provide security and stability in the northeastern state. The congress can go to any extent for coming to power and this is evident from the "lies" that they are spreading through the manifesto, the Prime Minister said at an election rally in Bokakhat. "Congress means lies, confusion, instability, violence and corruption. The party's coffers are empty and they want to come to power at any cost to fill it", PM Modi said taking a swipe at the grand old party.

Addressing his second rally in West Bengal, Modi accused chief minister Mamata Banerjee and her nephew and Trinamool Congress MP, Abhishek Banerjee, of corruption, adding that industries were closing down in the state while “syndicate culture and mafia raj” were flourishing. “The nation is continuously progressing towards a single-window [redressal] system. But in Bengal, only bhaipo [nephew] single-window works as nothing can happen without passing through this window. Because of TMC syndicate, old industries are shut and only mafia udyog prospers,” he said at a rally in Kharagpur.
