Central agencies being misused to topple Maha govt: Sanjay Raut

Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut  launched an all out attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party, accusing it of trying to destabilise the Maha Vikas Aghadi government in Maharashtra. Addressing a press conference in Mumbai on Tuesday, Raut said,"I was contacted by some BJP leaders who told me to either surrender before them or they will topple the government." He went on to allege that the BJP representatives threatened to “fix and tighten us up” if they refused to cooperate.

Raut alleged that party leader and other members of the opposition are being targeted and intimidated by central agencies at the behest of the BJP. “Central agencies are being used to topple the Uddhav Thackeray government, but if you think we will budge, that is not possible. We have learnt this from the late Balasaheb Thackeray," the senior MP said. “Several Shiv Sena leaders are facing attack from central agencies. This is not just a problem for Maharashtra but also for the entire country. West Bengal is facing a similar problem. While using agencies, they want us to give away our power or else they will trouble us through agencies,” charged Raut.
