Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s flagship initiative, Pariksha Pe Charcha has been conferred with the Guinness World Record for the ‘Most people registered on a Citizen Engagement Platform in one month’. This recognition is a testament of achievement made with 3.53 crore registrations during the eight edition of the programme, hosted on the MyGov platform. Pariksha Pe Charcha is a unique platform conceptualised and led by Modi wherein the Prime Minister directly interacts with students, teachers, and parents. The official Guinness World Record certificate was formally presented at a ceremony held in New Delhi on Monday, August 4,2025. The event was attended by the Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Electronics and Information Technology, Railways and Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and others.Launched in 2018, Pariksha Pe Charcha is a unique global platform where Prime Minister Modi directly interacts with students, teachers, and parents, encouraging stress-free preparation and holistic learning. The 2025 edition witnessed over 21 crore viewership across media platforms, making it one of the most widely followed educational initiatives in India.The initiative aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which emphasizes stress-free, experiential learning over rote memorization. Through interactive sessions, PM Modi addresses key issues such as time management, digital distractions, mindfulness, and emotional resilience, offering practical guidance to students, parents, and educators.
