The dynasty politics might be in centre of criticism by the BJP leadership including PM Narendra Modi in recent public rallies and party meetings as a threat to Indian democracy. He has been asking party cadres to fight against it and apply it in our own part. The party President JP Nadda in a recent party meeting at Bhopal called party workers and state leaders to understand the drawbacks of this rule where father, mother and their close relatives become office bearers in boards and commitees which is called dynasty rule which being followed by most of the regional parties like TMC in West Bengal, Samajwadi Party in UP , Lok Dal in Haryana , SGP in Panjab , RJD in Bihar, DMJ in Tamil Nadu and Shiv Sena and NCP in Maharashtra but BJP would not like to be tagged like them.
Ironically, just after their departure party leaders has kicked their advice in the air and started adopting tricks utilising Panchayat elections to break this party guide line.Information coming out from different corners of the state confirming the strategy by allowing their wards to stand in Panchayat election which is held on non- party basis. If sources are to be believed the three layered Panchayat elections will see sons, wives , daughter-in- laws , brothers and sisters of ex chief ministers , ex ministers and ex MLAs fighting Panchayat election.
Few names from BJP are out i.e. wife of Rahul Singh Lodhi an MLA from Khargapur and daughter-in-law of Ex Chief Minister Uma Bharati, Mrs. Umita Singh has filed nomination for Zila Panchayat.
Likewise Pushpraj Bagri son of ex MLA of Raigaon Satna , Jugal Kishore Bagri has also filed nomination for Zila Panchayat member. In Khandawa Divyaditya Shah son of Forest Minister Vijay Shah has also filed nomination for Zila Panchayat. Similarly Niranjan Jain wife of serving MLA of Niwari Anil Jain is a candidate of Zila Panchayat Niwadi a new District near Tikamgarh. In Tikamgarh two sisters of sitting BJP MLA Rakesh Giri , Kamini Giri , a sitting Chaiman of Janpad Panchayat Tikamgarh and Rani Giri are in the fray for Zila Panchayat membership.
One more high profile candidate, Mrs Roshni Yadav , vice president of district BJP, Niwadi and daughter- in-law of Ex. Governor of MP Ram Naresh Yadav has also filed nomination for Zila Panchayat membership from ward no. 6. Although not only BJP but Congress is also toeing the same line by distributing tickets to the wards of former MLAs and ministers but it is important to see whether leaders and cadres of BJP , a party of principles as said, would be able to follow the party guide line.
