A light touch-up is fine, but it shouldn't be overdone. I've noticed that the old taboo against men wearing makeup has significantly decreased.”
“Nowadays, it's normal for men to wear makeup when they go out. I believe makeup should look as natural as possible because a natural look feels better and is visually appealing,” he added.Asked about people wearing makeup even when they are out and about, Arpit said, “I don't usually go to parties, so I'm not really sure if people wear makeup or not at these events.” Personally, he is not a big fan of makeup. He said, “Even during shoots, I prefer to keep my makeup minimal. I do have a makeup team, but they focus on creating specific looks rather than enhancing  a glow or appearance for the sake of it.”

Rushad Rana opens up on new show Mehendi Wala Ghar

Actor Rushad Rana, who is currently seen in Mehendi Wala Ghar and will be part of Bollywood movie Ulajh starring Janhvi Kapoor, says that the show has a rather different storyline. He adds that people are already loving it.“It’s a very niche show with good characters also. The story is about four brothers and I am one of the brothers, who is an NRI. The brothers get separated due to some misunderstandings at a younger age. Some 25 years later our father is instrumental in bringing us together again. All the brothers come back and they try to settle down together. It’s a beautiful story and very well written and audiences are loving it,” he says.
He adds that he owes this opportunity to the exposure he got from Rajan Shahi’s Anupamaa. “I owe a lot to Anupamaa for bringing me back in the game. Before Anupamaa, I did some episodics but I wasn’t doing any good shows. But Anupamaa brought me back into people's minds,” he says.He adds, “My bond with Rajan sir goes back many years back. I worked with him when he was directing Hamare Tumhare. Since then, we have mutually been very fond of each other. Then I did a small cameo for him too. One more thing about my equation with Rajan sir is that I will always be grateful to him for casting me in Anupamaa. That show brought me everything.

Parents need more than love: Chitra Vakil Sharma

Producer Chitra Vakil Sharma, who has produced shows like Tandoor, Raktanchal, Bhram, and Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, to name a few, has shared her opinion on National Parents Day, which is observed on July 28. She said, “National Parents Day is a wonderful opportunity to acknowledge the sacrifices and love of parents.” “With increasing work commitments and independence, it's essential to strike a balance between personal space and family time. Parents need more than love; they require open communication, care, and compassion. The present generation can improve in these aspects, prioritizing quality time and emotional support for their parents,” she added.
She also pointed out that some parents may try to be friends to bridge the communication gap; however, she added, “It’s crucial to maintain a balance between friendship and parental guidance.” For Chitra, her parents are God, and she worships them. “My parents have brought me up with a lot of love and affection. My mom’s world was only her kids and husband. My father has taught me all my life. In my failure, my happiness, my sadness, my fight, my struggle, and my success in everything, my parents’ support and guidance have been involved,” she said.
What advice do you have for the younger generations? “Prioritize quality time with your parents and engage in open communication. Show appreciation and gratitude for their love and sacrifices. Be patient, understanding, and empathetic towards their concerns and values. Respect their boundaries while maintaining a healthy relationship. Remember, nurturing relationships with parents takes effort and dedication, but it's a rewarding investment in emotional well-being and family bonds,” Chitra ended.
