Will Champai Soren join BJP as he removes JMM symbol on X?

Poll bound state Jharkhand could see a big political storm. As per indications, former chief minister Champai Soren may shift his loyalty. Though he has denied any such rumour. He arrived in Delhi on Sunday for three days.The visit to the capital has sparked a flurry of political activity, with rumours swirling about his potential defection ahead of the Jharkhand assembly elections that will take place this year. Soren also added that he is in Delhi to meet his daughter. Champai However, refuted any rumour about his potential defection, saying that he is in Delhi for some personal work.

Meanwhile, as per agency report, former Jharkhand CM Champai Soren has removed JMM (Jharkhand Mukti Morcha) from his X account.JMM flags have been removed from the former CM Champai Soren's ancestral village, the JMM office and market in Mahuldih in Jharkhand. 

In Ranchi,the JMM dismissed the reports of Champai Soren joining the BJP as “mere rumours”.JMM spokesperson Manoj Pandey called the BJP a "sinking ship", adding that Soren would never consider joining it.

Champai Soren, who is considered close to the Soren family, was appointed as the Chief Minister after Hemant Soren was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on January 31 in an alleged land scam case.However, Champai Soren stepped down from the post on July 3 after Hemant Soren was granted bail by Jharkhand High Court.Sources said that Champai Soren is allegedly mulling joining BJP because he is upset with his unceremoniously removal from the post of Jharkhand chief minister.
