The Indian equity indices closes green amid mix global cues on Thursday. At close,the Sensex was up 348.80 points, or 0.58 percent, at 60,649.38, and the Nifty gained 101.45 points, or 0.57 percent, at 17,915.
Stocks and Sectors
Bajaj Auto, Bajaj Finance, BPCL, Bajaj Finserv and Bharti Airtel were among the biggest gainers on the Nifty, while losers included HDFC Life, HUL, Power Grid Corp, Adani Ports and Axis Bank, according to reliable sources.
On sectoral front,all sectoral indices ended in the green, except power.Auto, pharma, realty, information technology, capital goods and metal were up 0.5-1 percent, according to sources.BSE midcap and smallcap indices added 0.5 percent each.
On 27th April'23 the rupee falls 10 paise to close at 81.84 against the US dollar.
