Shubhman Gill to lead Team India against New Zealand

Shubman Gill will lead a 15-man India squad during the upcoming three-match ODI series, starting January 11, 2026. The BCCI selection committee, on Saturday, named India’s squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against New Zealand.Rishabh Pant has also found a place in the squad after spending the past few days under scrutiny over his spot in the team.Fast bowler Mohammed Siraj also makes his way back into the ODI setup after being overlooked for the South Africa series.

Gill, Iyer and Siraj replace Tilak Varma, Dhruv Jurel and Ruturaj Gaikwad from the squad that beat South Africa.
