In a sudden move, Arvind Kumar Sharma , Secretary MSME to government of India has resigned from the IAS with effect from January 11, 2021. He was a 1988 batch Gujarat cadre IAS officer and was due to retire in July 2022. According to sources he is likely to get some important assignment . In another order, Sanjeeva Kumar has been given the additional chage of Secretary, Security, Cabinet Secrtariat and the Chairman, National Authority Chemicak Weapons Convention. Kumar is presently posted as the Secretary, Border Management in MHA. he is a 1986 batch Assam- Meghalaya cadre IAS officer.
Ms Ashima Gupta will be new Financial Advisor in the Khadi and Village Industries Commission(KVIC), Mumbai under the MSME on deputation for a period of five years. She is a 1991 IRS_IT officer. S D Sharma , JS(Training) in DoPT , has been given the additional chage of the Director, ISTM. He is a CSS officer.
