Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that India is ready to protect humanity with two indigenous coronavirus vaccines. Addrssing the 16th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas convention on Saturday virtually, he said that India used to import PPE kits, masks, ventilators, and testing kits from outside but today our nation is self-reliant. "The world not only waiting for Indian vaccines for coronavirus but also looking at how it rolls out largest vaccination programme in the world," PM Modi said.
PM Modi also told Indians across the world that they are connected in minds because of 'Maa Bharti' and lauded the efforts of Indian-origin colleagues in fighting challenges in the last year. Modi said, "The ongoing campaign in India to empower the poor of the country is being discussed around the world. We have shown that in the sector of renewable energy, a developing country too can take lead."
