An Indian company came out with an eye drop containing pilocarpine for temporary cure of presbyopia. However, media and social media exaggerated its benefits and started pedalling fake news.Within two weeks, Indian drug regulator, DGCI took back the permission it had given to the company. In Hindi, the channel is run by lifelong social communicator, Manoj Pandey. He has served as CEO of the Rajya Sabha Television (now Sansad TV) and worked as a media advisor to many ministries of the central government.
He has written books on social media, the Indian constitution, the UN, and facilities for the common man.
