His visit comes in the wake of the success of Operation Sindoor, which was launched after the Pahalgam terror attack. India successfully destroyed several terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, killing over 100 terrorists in this operation.
Operation Sindoor was launched on 7 May in retaliation for a brutal terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on 22 April, where 26 Indian tourists lost their lives. Adampur airbase played a key role in repelling waves of missiles and drones fired last week - to make ludicrous claims.
