PM Modi addresses election rallies in Assam & Bengal

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has alleged that the Congress rule in Assam witnessed violence, bomb and uses of arms. He said that the NDA government is working towards bringing permanent peace in the state and the result has been seen at Bodoland Territorial Region. Addressing an election rally in Tumulpur on Saturday, Modi urged militants outfit to shun violence and to contribute in making Aatma Nirbhar Assam.  that the Congress rule in Assam witnessed violence, bomb and uses of arms.  He also mentioned that the government is working to implement the Assam Accord. Modi said that people of state are with development, stability, peace and brotherhood now and people would not support violence, instability anymore.

 Addressing an election rally in Tarakeswar in Hooghly, PM Modi said Mamata Banerjee has hurt the pride of Bengalis by saying that people come to my rallies for money. "Are you standing here in this scorching heat because of money? PM Modi asked. He further said that if BJP form the govt in Bengal every  farmer will get ₹18,000 in your account before Durga Puja," the prime minister said asking party workers to start documenting the details of the farmers where polling has been complete.

Attacking the Mamata Banerjee-led Trinamool Congress, PM Modi alleged that the party has "turned calamities into money-making opportunities". "Hooghly is one of the oldest industrial regions of the country. What has happened to it today? Old industries have been shut down. Possibilities of new industries, new investment, new business and employment have also been closed down," PM Modi said. He added that there was time when people from rest of the country would come to work in Bengal's factories. "But today the people of Bengal are being forced into exodus in search of jobs elsewhere," he said.

PM Modi said, "Didi is now looking for a place outside. Welcome to Varanasi. There is a ship that goes from Haldia to Varanasi. One more thing, the people of my Benaras, they are so large hearted they won't call you a tourist or outsider. They are as large hearted as the people of Bengal," the Prime Minister said. "In Varanasi, you will find a lot of people with tilak, saying Jai Shri Ram. Didi, then what will happen to you? Who will you be angry with?" the Prime Minister said, adding, "Don't be angry with the people of Benaras. They will live with you. They will not let you go to Delhi. They will keep you there itself."
