India have turned the tables on Australia on day one after being bowled out for 150 inside the first two sessions. Australia suffered a stunning batting collapse as they managed 67 for 7 at stumps of the first Test in Perth on Friday. India, who were all out for 150 from 49.4 overs at the stroke of tea, grabbed seven Australian wickets in 27 overs in the final session of the day.Alex Carey (19 batting) and Mitchell Starc (6 batting) were at the crease at stumps. Bumrah's 4/17, Rana's 1/33 and Siraj's 2/17 reduced Australia to 67/7 at stumps, behind India by 83 runs.Seventeen wickets fell on the day on a lively pitch at the Perth Stadium.

India finished the first session tottering on 51/4 as Australia pacers Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins ruled the roost. They went on to lose two more wickets to Mitchell Marsh early in the second session. Pant and Reddy then not only held fort but also managed to get a few boundaries going to give India a semblance of momentum but it didn't last too long. Earlier, India's stand-in captain Bumrah won the toss and chose to bat first.
