According to NITI Aayog CEO Nidhi Chhibber, the platform marks a significant step toward building a transparent, high-trust, and responsive governance ecosystem. She noted that real-time submission and tracking of field insights would ensure that grassroots-level inputs directly inform policy decisions and administrative interventions.Once uploaded, the data becomes instantly accessible to district authorities, who can review the suggestions, take necessary action, and submit responses through the same platform. The system also enables State Planning Secretaries to maintain a comprehensive overview of developments, facilitating cross-departmental coordination and timely implementation.
Rohit Kumar, Additional Secretary and Mission Director for ADP/ABP at NITI Aayog, highlighted the importance of data-driven governance and the critical role of CPOs in providing actionable field-level insights. He said the portal has been designed as an advanced digital interface to streamline communication and enable faster administrative responses across governance levels.
The CPO portal acts as a unified digital bridge between field observations and decision-making authorities, offering instant visibility, structured monitoring, and enhanced accountability. Officials expect the initiative to significantly improve implementation efficiency and responsiveness, particularly in aspirational districts and blocks across the country.
