National Awards:Rocketry:The Nambi Effect bags best feature film

Hindi film "Rocketry: The Nambi Effect" has won the National Award for best feature film while Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon shared the best actress prize for their roles in "Gangubai Kathiawadi" and "Mimi", respectively. South superstar Allu Arjun was judged the best actor for the Telugu film "Pushpa: The Rise (Part I)".The National Awards for 2021 were announced by filmmaker Ketan Mehta who headed the 11-member jury, in New dlehi on Thursday.The National Film Award for best director went to Nikhil Mahajan for Marathi film "Godavari".
After a significant shutdown, very few movies in 2021 tried to revive the theatrical run while pulling cinephiles back to the big screen. 280 feature films in 20 languages were selected.
The Kashmir Files has won the Nargis Dutt Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration. actors. Rocketry: The Nambi Effect was awarded Best Film. Kriti's Mimi co-star Pankaj Tripathi won Best Supporting Actor and Pallavi Joshi won Best Supporting Actress for her role in The Kashmir Fies.RRR won a slew of awards including Best Popular Film. It shared the Best Music prize and Kaala Bhairava won Best Male Playback Singer for Naatu Naatu; Shreya Ghoshal won Best Female Playback Singer. Gangubai Kathiawadi and Sardar Udham, which was named Best Hindi Film, also won several awards - Gangubai Kathiawadi won Best Screenplay, among other honours. Shershaah received a Special Jury award.
