Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board (MPTB) has demonstrated its prominence on the global stage by participating in two prestigious international travel marts—IFTM Top Resa 2025 in Paris, France, and Tourism Expo Japan 2025,being held at Aichi Sky Expo from September 25 to 28. With the theme of ‘Incredible India’s Heart’, the state highlighted its cultural depth, natural heritage, and diverse tourism offerings, reaffirming its growing identity as a global travel destination.
The Madhya Pradesh pavilion was inaugurated by Debjani Chakrabarti, Minister (Commerce & Economic), Embassy of India in Tokyo, in the presence of Bidisha Mukherjee, Additional Managing Director, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, who is leading the delegation. She was joined by Rakesh Goliya, Assistant Manager (Events & Marketing), Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, and industry partner Atul Singh (MP Incoming),according to information.Designed to reflect the vibrancy of the state’s culture and natural wealth, the pavilion highlights Madhya Pradesh’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites—the temple architecture of Khajuraho, the Buddhist monuments at Sanchi, and the prehistoric rock shelters of Bhimbetka. The exhibits also spotlight the state’s globally renowned tiger reserves at Kanha, Bandhavgarh, and Pench, as well as Buddhist sites, tribal traditions, and rural tourism initiatives.

Speaking about Madhya Pradesh’s international participation, Dharmendra Bhau Singh Lodhi, State Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Religious Trust & Endowment said the state has built a unique identity in the global tourism space. “It is a matter of pride to showcase Madhya Pradesh as Incredible India’s Heart at such prestigious platforms. These events not only open doors to new markets but also strengthen our partnerships with countries like France, across Europe, and Japan.”
Sheo Shekhar Shukla, Additional Chief Secretary of Tourism, Culture, Home, and Religious Trust & Endowment and Managing Director of MPTB, added that Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav’s vision is to promote Madhya Pradesh’s cultural and natural richness worldwide. “Madhya Pradesh is not just a place to visit but an experience that stays with travelers. Through consistent international outreach, we aim to place the state firmly on the global tourism map while offering authentic, experiential journeys.”The participation at Tourism Expo Japan 2025 follows Madhya Pradesh Tourism’s impactful showcasing at IFTM Top Resa 2025 in Paris, held earlier this month. Together, these platforms underline the state’s commitment to strengthening ties with global travel markets and inviting visitors to experience its timeless heritage, vibrant culture, and unmatched hospitality.
