Melbourne Test: Indian bowlers restict Australia

The Melbourne Cricket test between India and Australia is set for a tantalising finish.  The hoasts have slender two runs lead with just four wickets to go in their second innings. At the draw stumps of the third day, Australia were 133 for 6.  Pat Cummins with 15 and Cam Green with 17 runs were at the crease.  For India Ravinder Jadeja bagged 2 wickets while Bumra, Ashwin, Siraj and Umesh Yadav got one wicket each.

The Indian innings ended after the tailenders fell quickly at the end. India were bowled out for 326 runs with a lead of 131 runs in the second Test. Ravindra Jadeja got to his 15th Test fifty moments after stand-in captain Ajinkya Rahane was run out for 112. Jadeja was then dismissed by Mitchell Starc for 57. Centurion Rahane, and Jadeja started afresh aiming to take a sizable lead.
