The Lok Sabha polls will be held in seven phases and counting for Lok Sabha, 4 Assembly and by-polls of 26 Assemblies, will start on June 4. 102 Lok Sabha constituencies will go to poll in the first phase. Phses will start from April 19 and the last phase will be held on June 1. Polling dates of phase wise is- April 19, 26, May 7, 13, 20, 25 and June 1, 2024. Addressing a press conference in Hew Delhi on Saturday, Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar informed that Assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh & Odisha will be heldi on 13 May; Arunachal Pradesh & Sikkim on 19 April.He said that, the First phase to be held on 19th April, second phase on 26th April, third phase on 7th May, fourth phase on 13th May, fifth phase on 20th May, sixth phase on 25th May and the seventh phase on 1st June.

The CEC has also announced that by poll for 26 assembly seat, spreadover in various states , will aslo be held along with geleral elections.

In Karnatak, Lok Sabha polls will be helhd in the fourh phase along with Rajasthan. tripura and Manipur.
