Kashmir will never become Pakistan: Farooq Abdullah warn Islamabad

Former chief minister and National Conference president Farooq Abdullah on Monday lashed out at Pakistan for perpetrating terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, saying Islamabad will have to stop terror incidents in J&Kif it wants to have friendly relations with India. Abdullah said there can be no talks between New Delhi and Islamabad till the neighbouring country stops killings in Jammu and Kashmir."How can there be talks? You kill our innocent people and then you call for talks. First stop the killings," Abdullah said.
Talking to reporters in Srinagar, Abdullah warned that Kashmir will never become Pakistan. He condemned the terrorist attack in Ganderbal district, which claimed the lives of a doctor and six migrant workers on Sunday,Abdullah stated, "It is a very painful tragedy. Several poor labourers who came here to earn a living and send money to their families were mercilessly killed by these terrorists. Among the victims was also a doctor. What do these terrorists hope to gain? Do they think this will turn Kashmir into Pakistan?" Abdullah said, "Let us live with dignity and focus on development. How long will you continue to bring suffering to us? You started this in 1947, and in 75 years, Kashmir hasn't become Pakistan—so how will it happen now?”.The former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister emphasised the need to eradicate poverty, stating that terrorism is not the solution. He stressed that it must come to an end, warning that the consequences would be severe if it continues.

At least two terrorists carried out the dastardly attack on Sunday. Meanwhile, a team of NIA (National Investigation Agency) reached the spot of Gagangir terror attack in Ganderbal. Bihar CM Nitish Kumar expressed his condolences at the demise of three labourers from the state in the terror attack that happened in Gagangir, Ganderbal (J&K) on Sunday and announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh each for the kin of the deceased.
