Pakistan: Blast in Dera Ismail Khan kills 11, injures 30

The injured were provided medical assistance before being shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment.Security incidents have continued in the district this month, including attacks ⁠involving ​the Pakistani Taliban. Dera Ismail Khan is near South Waziristan, a former militant stronghold where the Pakistani military has carried out several operations in recent years.
