India on Tuesday defeated Australia in the fourth Test match in Brisbane by three wickets. With this win, India have won the series 2-1 and retained the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Resuming at four for none on the final day, India overhauled the target with 18 balls to spare in a match that went down to the wire.

Rishabh Pant and Subhman Gill were instrumental in ensuring India's victory. While Pant remained unbeaten at 89, Gill scored 91.
