Ideology should be seen standing with the nation-PM

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the country is now moving forward with the goal and resolve of self-reliant India. He said, the idea of self-reliant India is the collective consciousness of more than 130 crore Indians and has become part of our aspirations.
Modi asserted that the youth of the country are the brand ambassadors of brand India across the world and they represent the culture and tradition of India. The Prime Minister was speaking after unveiling the life-size statue of Swami Vivekananda at the campus of Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi via video conferencing. Modi said, one thing that has done harm to the democratic system of our country is giving priority to our ideology over national interest. Prime Minister said that our ideology should be seen supporting and not opposing the nation in matters of national interest.

-India has provided 50 Metric Tons of food aid to the people of Djibouti as part of its assistance to friendly countries to overcome natural calamities and the COVID-19 pandemic. Ambassador of India to Djibouti Ashok Kumar handed over gift of food items to the Secretary-General of the country's Ministry of Social Affairs and Solidarity Mme Ifrah Ali Ahmed as part of humanitarian assistance and disaster relief to Djibouti delivered by INS Airavat.In a statement, Ministry of External Affairs said that the step was part of SAGAR II (Security and Growth for All in the Region) through which the Government of India is providing 270 Metric Tons of Humanitarian assistance to friendly countries in the region.

-The government of Bangladesh has further extended the closure of all educational institutions from 14 November till December 19. The Education Ministry issued a notification to this effect on Thursday. The closure has been extended in view of the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic in the country. In Bangladesh the educational institutions have remained closed since March 17 shortly after the first Coronavirus case was detected in the country. While most of the other offices, factories and public places have gradually opened up in the country, the government has decided to continue with the closure of educational institutions for another 5 weeks beyond November 14 in order to contain the spread of Coronavirus. The government has already announced that annual examinations for Higher Secondary, secondary schools and Junior School Certificate will not be held in view of the Corona pandemic in the country.

-In Chhattisgarh, the government servants working on the basis of fake caste certificate will be terminated from the service. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has instructed to dismiss all government servants holding fake or false caste certificates immediately from service. After formation of Chhattisgarh state in the year 2000, total of 758 cases of fake and false caste certificates were received by the High Level Certification Investigation Committee. Out of which, 267 cases of caste certificates have been found fake. Most of these cases are pending before the High Court. The state government will request the High Court for an early hearing in all such cases. Chief Minister has instructed to dismiss all government servants holding fake or false caste certificates, except those who got a stay order from the court. In the meantime, all government servants whose caste certificates have been found false will be immediately removed from the important posts. 

-The sleuths of the Income Tax Department have detected undisclosed assets and income worth about 500-crore rupees in a series of raids in the properties of a leading bullion and gold dealer based in Chennai. The officials searched his premises at 32 locations in Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata, Coimbatore, Salem, Trichy, Madurai and Tirunelveli. The unaccounted assets unearthed include 814 kg of gold worth 400-crore rupees.The IT officials said, since it is a business stock, it could not be seized, though they have been identified as unaccounted income. Several methods used to elude taxes have been unearthed using the data in the computers in his office. The officials are trying to cull out the d data of the past records from the computers using forensic tools.
