Waterlogging has been reported at Hindmata, Dadar,Gandhi Market (Sion), Chembur station, Milan subway, Andheri subway and Dahisar subway. Heavy rainfall in the morning disturbed traffic movement in some low-line areas in the city. South Mumbai recorded extremely heavy rains in few hours on Wednesday.
As per information, Thane city, Dombivli and Kalyan areas, which are part of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR), received more than 120 mm rainfall during the same period. A report say that at least four people were killed and one went missing.
