Addressing the gathering Amit Shah said, prime Minister Narendra Modi has presented this year of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav before the people with a very noble spirit. We have achieved freedom after struggling for 90 years, from 1857 to 1947. Millions of people struggled and sacrificed their lives during this passage to attain freedom. Many brave revolutionaries died on the battlefield along with many brave martyrs including Bhagat Singh, Khudiram Bose, and Babu Kunwar Singh were martyred chanting the slogan of “Inquilab Zindabad”. The sacrifices given by our soldiers for the nation are not just sacrifices, but their sacrifices are the rites of living for the future generation and our country. The next 25 years will be dedicated by the youth towards making India 'Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat', he said.

Speaking about 'Har Ghar Tiranga' and ‘Meri Maati Mera Desh’ campaigns, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said that last year following the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the tricolour was hoisted in every house across the country, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.
