Congress backs invadors, anti-nationals: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday laid the foundation stones for health and infrastructure projects worth Rs 6,300 crore at Mangaldoi in Assam's Darrang district. He launched the construction of Darrang Medical College and Hospital, along with a nursing college and a GNM school. The combined investment in these healthcare projects is worth Rs 570 crore, officials said. The PM also laid the foundation stones for the 2.9 km-long Narengi-Kuruwa bridge with an estimated cost of Rs 1,200 crore and the 118.5 km-long Guwahati Ring Road project, connecting Kamrup and Darrang districts in Assam and Ri Bhoi in Meghalaya. The cost for the Ring Road project was estimated at Rs 4,530 crore.

Speaking on the occasion, PM Modi alleged that for its politics, the Congress associates with such ideology which is against India. The same was seen during Operation Sindoor. In every corner of Pakistan, the leaders of the terrorists were destroyed but the Congress stood with the Pakistani army instead of the Indian army. Instead of standing with our army, the people of the Congress party promote the agenda of those who foster terrorists. The lies of Pakistan becomes the agenda of Congress. That is why you have to always be cautious of Congress... Today, the Congress has become a great protector of the invadors and the anti-nationals."

He said, "Today India is the fastest-growing country in the world. Assam has also become one of the fastest-growing states in the country. There was a time when Assam was lagging in development and couldn’t keep pace with the nation, but today it is growing at nearly 13% growth rate."
