CAT issue notices to ex-ED Director,5 others in an APAR case

In an APAR related case of 2018, the CAT, Delhi has issued a notice to 6 respondent including one  ex- Director ED, present ED Director ,One former Spl Director ED, One JD, ED, UPSC and Revenue Secretary. According to the CAT order dated May 31, 2024, the case is related to an APAR of 2018 of Dr Sonali Bedhe, Senior law Officer, ED. As per CAT order her representation was rejected by impugned order dated January 24, 2024. The Tribunal has listed the case for further hearing on August  30 this year. 

According to experts this is unusual that a retired officer was served notice byname. This shows the seriousness of the case.
