Bihar highlights industrial potential at Dubai investment summit

Bihar showcased its industrial potential and investment opportunities at the 15th Annual Investment Meeting (AIM) Congress 2026 in Dubai, seeking to attract global investors and strengthen its position as an emerging industrial destination.The Bihar Pavilion was inaugurated at the Dubai World Trade Centre on Monday by Industries Minister Shreyasi Singh in the presence of senior state officials and international business delegates. The three-day summit is being held from September 7 to 9.
Addressing investors, Singh said Bihar was working to create a business-friendly environment and strengthen partnerships with global investors. She invited businesses to participate in the state’s development journey and highlighted the changing investment landscape.


The state delegation highlighted Bihar’s improving road connectivity, reliable power supply, human resources and enabling infrastructure. Officials also presented opportunities arising from the state’s industrial land bank and plug-and-play facilities.Industry Secretary Kundan Kumar said policy reforms and sector-specific initiatives had improved the ease of doing business in Bihar. He said the summit provided an important platform to connect with international investors and showcase emerging opportunities across sectors.
The Bihar Pavilion is highlighting key initiatives, including the Bihar Industrial Investment Promotion Package 2025, Semiconductor Policy 2026, Global Capability Centre Policy 2026, Tourism Policy, IT Policy and amendments to the Textile and Leather Policy.During the event, Singh also interacted with potential investors and addressed their queries on investment opportunities in the state, according to agency reports.Officials said Bihar’s participation in the Dubai summit is expected to expand its global investor outreach and support efforts to attract fresh investments, promote industrial growth and generate employment.
