India and Poland should move beyond traditional trade and deepen cooperation in technology, artificial intelligence (AI) and aerospace, Poland Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on Friday. Strategic partnership between the two countries should translate into joint ventures (JVs), the visiting leader said in Bengaluru. Tusk praised the Bengaluru city as a global innovation hub, noting how sustained investment in knowledge and entrepreneurship can elevate an entire economy. He said, "Poland has also undergone a huge transformation and is now a modern industrial economy and an important European centre for information and communications technology, engineering and innovation." Highlighting digital public services, he cited India's Unified Payments Interface (UPI) and Poland's electronic government services and mObywatel digital identity application as examples of expertise the countries could share.
