Big IAS reset,Centre reshuffles top secretaries

In a big reshuffle, the Centre has posted more than one dozen IAS officers as Secretaries Chanchal Kumar will be new Secretary Information and Broadcasting while Sanjay jaju has been posted as Secretary DoNER.Ms Nivedita Shukla Verma goes as Secretary, DoP&T with additional charge of the Department of Pensions and Pensioners' Welfare. Bhuvnesh Kumar has been appointed new Secretary Tourism. Abhishek Singh has been appointed Director General of the National Testing Agency in the rank of Secretary.

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) on Tuesday approved a wideranging reshuffle of senior bureaucrats, appointing and reassigning multiple IAS officers across key ministries in the Union government. The changes span departments including information and broadcasting, tourism, rural development, financial services, minority affairs, and micro, small & medium enterprises, alongside several upgrades to secretary-level positions.
