Features of Bharat Parv 2025
Bharat Parv 2025 features cultural performances from two states each evening, reflecting the diversity of India’s traditions and artistic expressions. The event hosts 45 food stalls and a live studio kitchen serving regional dishes from across the states and union territories, along with 55 stalls displaying handicrafts and handlooms. The Bharat Darshan Pavilion has been designed to showcase famous tourist attractions and cultural highlights from various states.A special presentation has been planned on November 15 to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of tribal icon Birsa Munda, referred to as the “god of tribals.”
Tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and Birsa Munda
The Chief Minister underlined that Bharat Parv is being organized as part of the 150th birth anniversary celebration of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man and creator of an undivided India. He said that Prime Minister Modi paid the greatest tribute to Sardar Patel through the construction of the world’s tallest statue — the Statue of Unity — symbolizing India’s unity and strength. He noted that Sardar Patel united 562 princely states to form one India, while Prime Minister Modi is now leading the nation on the path toward building the “best India” through development and self-reliance. “We are fortunate to have a leader who places the nation’s welfare above individual interests,” Patel said.He recalled that for years, the celebration of Sardar Jayanti was limited to formal programs, but since 2014, Prime Minister Modi has transformed it into National Unity Day to truly honor Sardar Saheb’s legacy. The Chief Minister said the Statue of Unity and the development of Ekta Nagar exemplify how visionary leadership can transform an entire region into a global destination.
Celebrating Unity through Culture and Festivals
Bhupendra Patel emphasized that the spirit of “One India – Best India” is reflected in the festivals celebrated across the country — whether it be Gujarat’s Navratri-Garba, Maharashtra’s Ganapati festival, Bihar’s Chhath Puja, or West Bengal’s Durga Puja each festival unites people beyond regional boundaries. He highlighted that under Prime Minister Modi’s inspiration, events such as the Madhavpur Fair, Saurashtra-Tamil Sangam, and Kashi Tamil Sangam have strengthened national unity by connecting different regions and communities. Bharat Parv continues this tradition by bringing together diverse cultural and regional expressions under one platform.
